about me.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am currently a Geospatial Machine Learning Consultant at Thinking Machines Data Science where we wrangle geospatial data to produce clean, insightful maps and efficient AI models.
Previously, I spent 3 years in the energy industry, developing and deploying market forecasting models to enhance renewable energy portfolios and providing weather/climate insights for plant operations.
Before that, I trained as a climate scientist for 6 years, earning a Masters in Atmospheric Science from Ateneo de Manila University in 2019. My research interests include climate geoengineering impacts, extreme events attribution, regional monsoon dynamics, data validation techniques, and climate model evaluation.
I’m also the lead researcher of Project GeoNetworksPH, where we quantitatively assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the transportation network of Visayas, Philippines for relief distribution logistics.
I also teach data science in Python for people of all backgrounds.
